Martini's Summer Campaign

Summer season is Martini season. This year, we were once again entrusted with creating a fresh summer campaign for Martini. We were given the go-ahead to unleash our creative quirkiness and we didn’t hold back. Based on a concept of ‘new-age retro’ we created a collage-themed, vibrant design, topped off with localising elements such as the Blue Lagoon and a traditional Maltese balcony. These were used to promote Martini's ubiquitous Royale and Bellini drinks and their brand-new creation 'Martini Rossini'.

Campaign Platforms

For the Martini 2019 summer campaign we exposed our designs across a variety of platforms including social media animations and billboards around the island. We also made sure our design looked perfect on a set of uniquely designed box gift sets. And the figures speak for themselves. Throughout the month of June the campaign reached over 200,000 people, with the video alone getting over 50,000 views. We’ll drink to that. 

Artwork Snippets

We based our design style on a ‘new-age retro’ look and feel, and created vibrant, vintage collages topped off with localising elements such as the Blue Lagoon and a traditional Maltese balcony. These were used to promote Martini's ubiquitous Royale and Bellini drinks, and their brand-new creation 'Martini Rossini'. Each collage began with a meticulous hunt for the perfect collection of images and assets, featuring vintage characters, saturated fruits and Maltese landmarks. Next we colourised, organised and improvised on these raw assets to create the offbeat collages that went on to grace social media channels, packaging and billboards around the island.
